Brick extension to a garden outbuilding
We added a new brick room onto the side of an existing garden outbuilding, matching the yellow brick of the original so it looks like one building.

Before & after
Drag to compare.
Extra covered space in the garden that matches the outbuilding it was built onto.
The job
How we built it.
- 01
Footings
Trenches were dug alongside the existing building for the new walls.
- 02
Walls
The new walls went up in a yellow multi brick to match the original, with an opening left for a window.
- 03
Floor and roof
Inside, a hardcore base was compacted over a damp-proof membrane, and the roof went on with timber joists and profile sheeting.
