- Do you give free quotes? Yes. We visit, measure up, check levels and drainage, and then send a written, itemised quote. There’s no charge and no obligation, and we’re happy to talk through options if you’re weighing up materials or budgets.
- Which areas of Kent do you cover? We’re based in Rochester and work across Kent — Medway, Maidstone, Gravesham, Dartford, Swale, Tonbridge & Malling, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Canterbury, Ashford, Folkestone & Hythe, Dover and Thanet. If you’re unsure whether we reach you, send your postcode and we’ll tell you straight away.
- How long does a typical driveway or patio take? It depends on size, access, how much needs digging out and the material. Most domestic driveways and patios take from several days to around two weeks. Your quote will include a realistic timescale, and we’ll tell you early if weather is likely to affect it.
- Do I need planning permission for a new driveway? In England, a new or replacement front-garden hard surface over 5m² needs planning permission unless it’s permeable or drains to a permeable area within your property. Most of our driveways are designed to meet that rule. If you also need a dropped kerb, that’s a separate application to the highway authority.
- Do you handle the whole job, including groundwork and waste? Yes. We excavate, build the sub-base, sort drainage and edging, lay the finish and clear the site. Handling the groundwork ourselves is the main reason our driveways and patios stay level and drain properly for years.
- Can I see examples of your work? Our projects page shows driveways, patios, brickwork, landscaping, fencing and groundworks we’ve built. If you’d like to see something specific to your plans, ask and we’ll share more photos of similar jobs.
